Ants and roaches
Ants and roaches: find the way in, then treat
Spraying a line along the baseboard rarely lasts. We trace where they come from and what draws them.
Ants follow water and food through the smallest gaps, and roaches shelter in garages, block-wall voids and under irrigation boxes. We treat the outside first, then inside where we find activity.
What we check
Trails along stucco lines, patio slabs and irrigation boxes
Moisture under sinks, near water heaters and at hose bibs
Garage corners, door seals and block-wall caps
Landscape watered close to the foundation

What helps
Four things you can do between visits
Fix drips
A slow hose bib or a drip line is a reliable draw for ants.
Close the garage
Keep the door closed in the evening, when roaches and crickets move.
Trim back
Branches that touch the roof or stucco are a bridge.

Questions
Ant and roach questions
How long until I see results?
For most homes, ants and roaches slow down within a week or two, though it varies. Scorpions are different: they live in the desert around the house, so the goal is fewer sightings and sealed gaps, not none. Your report says what we'd expect and what to watch.
What about children and pets?
Licensed applicators follow the product label. We tell you which areas to keep children and pets away from, and for how long, and you can ask for our product list before we start.
Do I need to be home?
For the first visit, yes if you can: you point out what you've noticed, and we walk the rooms with you. For later visits we treat the outside, and we ask you to unlock gates and secure pets. The blacklight walk happens in the yard, and we can do it with you or without you.

Send a photo of the trail and we'll tell you what to expect.
